ANTI RAGGING
Ragging is totally prohibited in Lala Hansraj Phutela College of Law, Sirsa inside and / or outside the campus and anyone found guilty of ragging and / or abetting ragging whether actively or passively, or being a part of conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 as well as under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force.
LHP College of Law, Sirsa ensures that the congenial and welcoming environment is given to the freshers. To achieve this objective following committees have been formed by the Institute as per UGC Regulation 2009:

- Mentoring Cell
- Anti Ragging Squad

- 2. To monitor and oversee the performance of anti ragging squad in prevention of ragging in the institution

MENTORING CELL
As per UGC the Composition of the Mentoring Cell:
- Students volunteering as mentors for the freshers
- Many levels or tiers of mentors
- One mentor for six freshers
- One mentor of higher level for six mentors of lower level
- One faculty member for a group of higher level mentors
Roles and Responsibilities of Committees
- Junior Level: To mentor freshers, to interact with freshers and to provide congenial and welcoming environment on the campus. There will be around 80 freshers, so there has to be 10 mentors of Junior Level.
- Senior Level: To guide and support as well as to interact with freshers through junior level mentors. As there are 10 junior level mentors, so two senior level mentors will help them.

As per UGC, the Composition of Anti Ragging Squad:
To be nominated by the head of the institute with the representation as may be considered necessary from the campus community only.

- To make surprise raids on hostels and other places vulnerable to incidents of and having the potential of ragging.
- To conduct on the spot enquiry in to any incident of ragging
